Hi, and welcome.

I’m Viki Stanley-Hutchison, creator and owner of Curvy Cutie Fitness & Nutrition.

I’m here to help plus-size women—my fellow Curvy Cuties—stop feeling confused, frustrated, or “crazy” around food and their bodies, and start building a relationship with movement, nourishment, and self-care that feels safe, supportive, and empowering.

At Curvy Cutie Fitness & Nutrition, we focus on learning how to feel energized, strong, confident, and at peace in your body—at every size, shape, age, and fitness level. Through integrative, mindful meals and movement, paired with gentle habit-building and deeply reflective journaling practices, you’ll learn how to reconnect with yourself and create lasting change from the inside out.

No shame.
No punishment.
No pressure to be anything other than who you are right now.

You deserve to feel at home in your body.

My approach is deeply personal, because this work comes from lived experience.

I’m a lifelong dancer and choreographer who was forced to find a new path after a major back injury led to chronic pain, ongoing health issues, and significant weight gain. When I was ready to begin moving again, I struggled to find truly beginner-friendly classes—most were too long, too intense, and not designed for someone rebuilding from the ground up.

To make matters worse, many trainers assumed my struggle was a lack of motivation or discipline. In reality, I was dealing with autoimmune issues, nutrient deficiencies, and chronic fatigue that made even daily life feel hard and overwhelming.

I also felt deeply uncomfortable being seen in my new body. Walking into gyms felt intimidating, isolating, and unsafe. Even in spaces that claimed to be size-inclusive, I often felt judged—sometimes overtly so.

One class, in particular, pushed me past my limits. I finished out of sheer determination, only to end up in the emergency room days later with dangerously depleted potassium levels. That moment forced me to slow down and listen—really listen—to my body.

Learning to listen changed everything.

Over the next year, I discovered that many of my health struggles were rooted in nutritional deficiencies and chronic inflammation. Life felt like survival mode—until curiosity (and a chance encounter with a sweet older man at the grocery store I now affectionately call my “banana man”) nudged me toward a deeper exploration of nutrition, holistic health, and sustainable movement.

That curiosity led me back to school, where I earned certifications in integrative nutrition, personal training, and yoga. More importantly, it reignited hope.

Through trial, error, and patience, I learned how to nourish my body, rebuild strength gently, and regain my energy. Along the way, I healed gut health issues, reduced inflammation and pain, came off medication after eight years, and rediscovered joy in movement and daily life.

I’m still a work in progress—but my life finally feels like mine again. I moved from barely surviving to truly thriving.

And now, I help other women do the same.

No matter what you’ve been through…
No matter your size, age, or fitness level…
You can reconnect with your body and reclaim your health in a way that feels kind, sustainable, and empowering.

As a certified fitness and nutrition professional, I create programs, classes, and private coaching experiences designed to help you set realistic goals, build supportive habits, and feel confident showing up for yourself—without shame or burnout.

If you’re ready to feel stronger, more energized, and more at peace with food and your body, you’re in the right place.
